If you’ve been doing an extensive remodeling job to your home, rebuilding a kitchen, bathrooms, and the bedrooms, there comes the moment when the heavy duty job of remodeling is done and you want to add nice subtle touches.  Now you’re thinking single duvet covers and how one would look great in your new bedroom.  The problem, when all is said and done with remodeling, is that you’re finding yourself with a very limited budget.  Still, it’s possible to persuse through single duvet covers and pick one that’s affordable.

When you start shopping for single duvet covers, peruse through all the catalogs and online sites that you can for prices and especially, items that are put on sale.  When you’re looking for a duvet cover, you should remember that you want something that will be comfortable and well constructed.   Ideally, you want a single duvet cover that’s made of natural fibers such as cotton or silk.  On a tight budget, single duvet covers made of silk are out of the question.  Even on sale!   The cheapest is a duvet cover made of synthetic fiber, however, you may want to go with a cotton-made duvet cover on sale that might be priced very closely to one made of polyester.

Before making the purchase, check to make sure that the single duvet cover fabric is fire resistant.  The packaging slip from the store should make that clear or on the online site that you may be purchasing from.

Another factor to consider when buying a single duvet cover is the size.  Prices will vary from a simple twin size to a Cal-King size.  The other factors include the type of fibers used for softness, warmth, and the type of fabric used which makes contact with your body.  A basic cotton fabric may cost you anywhere from $50.00 to $60.00 while something like an Egyptian cotton fabric will cost you well over $100.00.  You will also want to consider the design and if it will complement your bedroom scheme.  The rule of thumb should be to pay for what will satisfy you the most.  Don’t be impulsive in buying something you won’t like because you couldn’t afford something better.  It’s best to wait until the better cover is on sale and you’re in a better position to afford it.   The comfort of a good quality single duvet cover is worth the wait.
